High Praire, Kapawe’no Territory – KFN Collegiate partnered with the High Prairie Redwings for the 2025 NJHL playoffs. Game 4 was another exciting opportunity for our students and staff to engage with local hockey as the Redwings faced the Lac La Biche Lakers.
Hockey is an amazing sport, and there are tough decisions in the playoffs as one team advances and one team prepares to clean out their locker room. Game 4 action saw the Redwings fall short against the Lac La Biche Lakers 3-2. “It was a hard fought battle to the end”, said Principal Jorden Thiessen as he witnessed the game. Chavo Sutherland, one of our Grade 12 students, played hard and has enjoyed his time with the Redwings.
