Red Shirt Day

Today, our students and staff came together in recognition of Red Shirt Day and MMIW Awareness. Through reflection, learning, and a community walk, we took time to honor the lives of Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women, Girls, and Two-Spirit People, while acknowledging the families, survivors, and communities who continue to carry this grief.

As we share these photos from today’s walk and ceremony, we do so with respect and remembrance for the lives lost, the families forever impacted, and the communities continuing to seek justice and healing. The red dresses stand as a powerful reminder that these individuals are not forgotten.
Thank you to our students and staff who took part in today’s meaningful day of reflection and awareness.
