Kapawe’no First Nation – At KFN Collegiate, the athletic program has introduced a structured plyometrics and calisthenics program under the guidance of Mr. Brian Thomas and our strength and conditioning coach, Mr. Sandy Laughlin. This initiative focuses on developing the students’ athletic performance and enhancing their overall fitness.
The program includes targeted exercises designed to build strength, agility, and coordination. By introducing these techniques into the physical activities curriculum, it aims to foster a greater appreciation for physical fitness and encourage lifelong healthy habits among students.
