KFN Collegiate Honours Partners in Nation Building and Lifelong Learning

Kapawe’no First Nation – KFN Collegiate is dedicated to building a strong nationhood by encouraging lifelong learning through key partnerships. The KFN Collegiate values the significant role that Kapawe’no First Nation Alice Halcrow Healing Centre – Health Services and the Wellness Society & Centre plays in achieving these goals.

Today, KFN Collegiate presented medallions to two important people: Marcella Schnurr, Health Manager, and Jarrett Knibb, Wellness Manager. Marcella is known for being a strong advocate of lifelong learning, providing support and programs for both citizens and students, always willing to lend a hand.

Meanwhile, Jarrett Knibb as a parent and managing the Wellness Centre he loves his nation and contributes to the school’s sports and hockey academies.

During the ceremony, the Kapawe’no Nehiyawak School Muskwak Jr from Kapawe’no Nehiyawak School performed two special songs, including an honour song and the Muskwak Spirit song. These performances highlighted the strong relationship between the organizations and their joint dedication to nation building and lifelong learning.
