Edmonton, Treaty 6 Territory – Following a challenging 6-0 defeat to the Horse Lake Thunder, the Kapawe’no Muskwak U18 Elite bounced back impressively in Game 5 against Sunchild, securing a dominant 10-3 victory on Saturday, April 5. After facing adversity, the Muskwak returned to form with teamwork and pride.
Leading 2-1 after the first period and 6-1 after the second, the standout moment came when Curtez Giroux, assisted by Jacob Fleming and Logan Lavers, netted the game-winning goal. Our goalie Ryker Halcrow delivered a great rebound performance along with our offensive and defensive play helped clinch the win.
