Kapawe’no First Nation – The excitement was palpable as Kapawe’no Nehiyawak School students participated in a “Wear Blue and Orange Day” in support of the Edmonton Oilers, who faced off against the LA Kings in the NHL 2025 playoffs. The Kapawe’no Nehiyawak School’s spirit was united, sporting Oilers gear and cheering throughout the day to bring good vibes to their beloved team. Their enthusiastic support helped the Oilers’ determination on the ice, as Edmonton secured a hard-fought 6-4 victory over the LA Kings advancing to the second round.
With the first-round completed, the Oilers are ready to head into the second round of the playoffs where they will battle the Las Vegas Golden Knights.
