Kapawe’no First Nation – Kapawe’no Nêhiyawak School, Mrs. Jackie’s K-1 students recently had an afternoon of learning, hosted by health professionals from Kapawe’no Health Services.
The visit included an engaging presentation from the dentist who taught the children about proper teeth cleaning techniques through interactive activities. The dentist also captured their attention and curiosity through the reading of a book about dental health. This experience was about learning dental hygiene and about fostering a sense of nation building through health and wellbeing among our youngest learners.
