Kapaweno First Nation – Aysha Bellegarde’s journey in the world of dance began at the age of four in Regina, Saskatchewan. Since then, she has immersed herself in various dance forms including jazz, tap, ballet, acro, pointe, lyrical, and contemporary. Over the years, Aysha has garnered numerous awards at dance competitions across Saskatchewan, showcasing her exceptional talent and dedication. Her passion for dance has even taken her to Disneyland, where she participated in a parade.
Notably, in 2019, Aysha was chosen for the Children’s Tap Team and represented Canada at the International Dance Organization World Tap Championships in Riesa, Germany, where the team achieved a commendable 6th place.
Currently, Aysha continues to pursue her passion for dance at Repertoire Dance Society in High Prairie. Greatness achieved for Aysha, continue to shine!
