Edmonton, Treaty 6 – The Kapawe’no Muskwak U11 team, strongly represented by members from the Kapawe’no Nêhiyawak School and Nation, shows promise as a formidable team for the future. This is in part due to the skilled leadership of coaches Cory Cardinal Jr. and Rod Sutherland, and manager Shannon Anderson.
The first day presented its challenges, marked by initial nerves, yet it was thrilling. The real test came on day two, and in their third game, the U11s triumphed with an outstanding win. Congratulations to the players, staff, and the supportive parents for their exceptional efforts and teamwork.
