Edmonton, Treaty 6 – In their inaugural tournament and first experience playing as a unit, the Kapawe’no First Nation and Buffalo Bay Academy express immense pride in the U18 team’s performance.
Todays playoff bracket game vs Alexis Warriors was back forth action and very close. Their goaltender kept our intense firepower away. Congrats Alexis Warriors and Chief Tony Alexis on a great battle.
The games were characterized by sheer heart of Kihew and courage of Muskwa. The belief instilled in the players throughout the weekend was evident, and they performed remarkably well.
“Our players and coaching staff did awesome and worked really hard; we are proud of them”, said Hereditary Chief Sydney L Halcrow.
Our U18 finished off with 3 wins and 2 losses. Great work boys, we are proud of you. It’s all about Muskwak proud forever and having fun!
