Edmonton, Treaty 6 – A strong effort against their opening match to now, the Muskwak U15 faced the all-boys Sunchild team in day one in a rapid-paced game game one losing 3-0
Game two and three the same with great strides from the team. Despite their opponents aggressive play, marked by strong checking and effective puck passing, Kapawe’no demonstrated their skill, especially notable given their less frequent play compared to their opponents.
The U15’s include four first-time players who had never played hockey before, yet they adapted and worked hard as the game progressed. Ultimately, despite the losses, the Muskwak U15’s performance was a display of teamwork.
