Edmonton, Treaty 6 – At the opening ceremony of the 2024 Native Hockey Alberta Provincials, Lifelong Councillor Debbie Chalifoux proudly represented the Kapawe’no First Nation. The Nation’s flag, a symbol of its identity and pride, flew high, embodying the spirit of the Nation and our Muskwak pride.
This year’s opening ceremony took place on Thursday, April 4, 2024. It was hosted at the Terwillegar Community Recreation Centre, Arena. This event marked a significant moment for the Kapawe’no First Nation, showcasing their vibrant Nêhiyawak Miyo Kisepayaw and Nation spirit.
