Kapawe’no First Nation – In collaboration with Kapown Rehabilitation Center, Director Ms. Jennifer and nation member Mrs. TerryLynn Halcrow played crucial roles in equipping our little ones with mini hockey sticks for our newly launched mini hockey program. The initiative, which started this year in our Kapawe’no Nêhiyawak School, on our synthetic ice was significantly aided by Ms. Halcrow’s efforts to secure the necessary equipment for the program’s success.
The participation and enthusiasm of our students suggest that the program will have a lasting impact. We are grateful to all the supporters who contributed to this achievement. We aim to continue the program annually.
