Kapawe’No First Nation – At our Kapawe’no Nehiyawak School, Jaime Malanchuk observed our class grade 2/3 @ 11am on Tuesday April 23rd for badminton serving classroom instruction.
She was very kind and took a keen interest in what I was doing during our instruction. As the class moved along we noticed she put down her pen, pad and joined our class and partnered with one of our students Suki enjoying a set of badminton.
Sport has a unique way of bring the child back in us and a great way to break down walls. Our students will greatly benefit with the expertise of a physiotherapist because of the progress of our sports academy. Thank you Kapwe’no Health Centre for the continued support.
