Kapawe’no First Nation – At Kapawe’no Nêhiyawak School, Buffalo Bay Academy and FNVLC our students, teachers and staff continue to strengthen our foundation. This year’s annual Parent Teacher Open House saw increased attendance and more registration / applications for the upcoming school year.
Our distinctive programs, unavailable elsewhere in the region, drive our progress. Full academics with numeracy and literacy initiatives, a comprehensive safety plan, and unique academic offerings in nêhiyawawein, taught by our Nêhiyawak teachers, set us apart from mainstream education. Additionally, our fine arts, music, and sports academies are expanding rapidly, and our commitment to the Nêhiyawak miyo pimacihowin through our LAWF ensures ongoing balance.
The event was a resounding success, and we look forward to future successes. Congratulations to Tori Willier, who won an iPad in the draw for students registering for next year.
