Kapawe’no First Nation – Registration for the 2024/25 school year at Buffalo Bay Academy is open! We encourage you to apply either online or in person at our school. This year, we are implementing the 80/80 academic initiative, which requires students to maintain an 80% attendance rate and an 80% academic average to participate in sports and events. All sports academies will be scheduled for after school this upcoming school year with no interference of academics.
Our theory courses, including Sports Management, The Confident Athlete, and the Hockey curriculum, are designed to complement and integrate seamlessly with the regular academics.
In addition to our academic standards, we are excited about the enhancements in our music, fine arts and LAWF programs. Our elite U15 and U18 hockey and basketball teams both female and male are also set to travel and compete, showcasing our strong athletic programs and Muskwak pride. Embracing our Nehiyawak way of life and teachings, we continue to offer a top-notch educational and cultural experience.
