Kapawe’no First Nation – Through our Kapawe’no Nêhiyawak School and our Nêhiyawêwin morning session, our young Iskwew (girls) are now singing songs with the Muskwak Jrs, led by Mr. Cory Cardinal Jr. and Mr. Cory Cardinal Sr. It’s incredible to see the progress since September; the Muskwak Jrs are now confidently drumming and singing together. This remarkable development showcases the dedication and talent of our students.
The young Iskwew have stepped up, backing up their classmates every morning during our online Nêhiyawawin session at our school. Their commitment to supporting their classmates and participating in Nêhiyawak Pimatsowin highlights the strong sense of nation building and pride within our school.
