Good Samaritan Three Acts of Kindness Orchestrated by Kise Manitow (the Creator)

May 29, 2024

On Sunday, May 26th, 2024, Mr. Thomas and Mr. Mack left Edmonton at 5:30 pm, slightly later than their usual 5 pm departure. As the light rain eased, they began their journey towards Grouard.

As they approached Tieland, they noticed three small black calves on the side of the highway, separated from their herd and distressed by the passing traffic. They stopped to ensure the calves’ safety and informed the owner, a retired principal, who was grateful for their help. This marked the first act of kindness.

Continuing up Highway 43 towards Smith, Alberta, they saw a white pickup truck with hazard lights flashing and a person inside. Further down the road, they encountered a lady walking quickly on the shoulder. She explained she had an argument with the person in the truck and needed a ride to Slave Lake. They gave her a ride, and upon arrival at her home, she was reunited with her daughter. This was their second act of kindness.

Closer to their destination, Fred slowed down upon seeing a deer lying in the middle of the highway, apparently hit by a vehicle. They called the safety and wildlife office and flagged down a passing police cruiser. The officer helped move the deer to the side of the road, ensuring traffic was not impeded. This was their third act of kindness.

On May 26th, Mr. Thomas and Mr. Mack demonstrated the Creator’s timing through three acts of kindness.
