Kapawe’no First Nation – On this beautiful morning at Kapawe’no Nêhiyawak School, we are honored to witness our young student, Meagan Pfefferle, a proud citizen of Kapawe’no Nêhiyawak playing the Waniska (Sunrise Song) in Nêhiyawêwin.

Meagan’s dedication to preserving and celebrating our language and traditions through music brings pride to our Nation and schools. Her performance is a reminder of the strength and continuity of our Pimachihowin, lighting the path for future generations. Tâpwêwin, the truth, resonates in her song, awakening our spirits with the dawn.
