Kapawe’no First Nation – We proudly report that the Kindergarten-Grade 1 class at Kapawe’no Nêhiyawak School has achieved notable success this year in reading, printing, and mathematics. “I am very proud of these students; they are exceptional individuals,” said Ms. Halcrow. She believes in the potential of her students and encourages them to pursue any path they choose in the future. “I let them know that anything is possible,” she added.
Ms. Halcrow, along with Erin Thunder and Daniella Lamouche, has fostered a strong group of students who follow the classroom and playground rules. “We have created a positive and safe atmosphere where students want to be and learn with enthusiasm,” Ms. Halcrow stated. This supportive environment has been reflected in the students’ progress throughout the school year.
