Buffalo Bay Academy Student Council Launches Halloween Spirit Week

October 31, 2024

Kapawe’no First Nation – The Buffalo Bay Academy Student Council played a pivotal role in the successful hosting of Halloween Spirit Week, engaging students across the schools in festive activities. Their commitment to their responsibilities while adhering to the “80/80 Rule” demonstrates their dedication. This rule, requiring an 80% average and 80% attendance, ensures that students involved in the council are exemplary in both academics and participation. The council’s leadership was evident in the array of activities and fundraising efforts, showcasing their ability to balance fun with responsibility.
Thanks to the guidance and support from our executive student council members and teachers Ms. April, Ms. Sherry, and Mr. Joe, the council’s initiatives were well executed and impactful. The collaborative effort between students and staff fostered a sense of nation building and school spirit, making Halloween Spirit Week a memorable experience for everyone involved. The success of these events reinforces the importance of active student leadership and the positive outcomes that can arise from a motivated and engaged student body.
