Kapawe’no First Nation – In an inspiring display of talent and appreciation, the amazing Kapawe’no Nehiyawak School grade 5 students of Ms. Sam Tomkins’ class captivated the audience with their heartfelt rendition of the “Muskwa Spirit Bear Song.” The performance showcased not only their musical skills but also their respect and understanding of nehiyawak pimachimowin. With the lyrics and drumming repeated in harmonious unison, the students successfully celebrated this beautiful piece with enthusiasm and spirit.
