Kapawe’no First Nation – Buffalo Bay Academy is buzzing with energy and enthusiasm as the student council charts a path toward success. At the helm of this dynamic group is Grade 12 student Tori Willier, whose leadership and drive have inspired both peers and educators alike. Her ability to motivate and steer the council toward achieving their goals is evident in the vibrant school.
Supporting Tori is a dedicated team of council members, each leading their respective classes with passion and commitment. They’ve cultivated a collaborative environment where ideas flourish, boosting school spirit and fostering a sense of unity. Assisted by teachers Ms. Adamson, Ms. Sherry Bellegarde, and Mr. Joe Kavanagh, the council receives invaluable guidance and support, which helps them navigate challenges and implement innovative projects.
Today she showcases the beautiful beadwork from Outreach/Adult Learning student Haley Kubrakovich, the council will be drawing names when you support the canteen and cafe. With this strong foundation, the council is poised to make this academic year truly memorable.
