Kapawe’no First Nation – KFN Collegiate and schools came together to celebrate the 70th birthday of Hereditary Chief Sydney L. Halcrow. The event was held during a special ceremony of our buffalo drum, which honored Hereditary Chief Halcrow’s leadership and his dedication to guiding the Nation. Everyone joined in the celebration, showing their gratitude and excitement for Chief Halcrow’s inspirational vision. For years, he has been a shining example, encouraging younger generations to dream big and aim for a brighter future through knowledge ever increasing.
This celebration reminded every one of the important values and strong legacy that Hereditary Chief Halcrow stands for. He has always promoted more learning, sport, unity, and respect. His leadership continues to guide the way towards a promising future, where knowledge ever increasing and togetherness grow.
