Kapawe’no First Nation – Buffalo Bay Academy is thrilled to welcome Mrs Charlene Noskey, a passionate educator and fluent n?hiyaw?win speaker from Loon River First Nation. Since graduating from the University of Alberta in 2016, Mrs Noskey has dedicated her career to working with children, ensuring they not only receive a quality learning experience but also connect with their cultural roots. Her unique approach incorporates n?hiyaw?win and pimachimowin teachings into the curriculum, fostering a rich learning environment that embraces both academic and cultural growth.

Mrs Noskey’s commitment to engaging students and involving the nation is evident as she actively collaborates with fellow educators and parents. By promoting inclusivity and pride in pimachimowin, she aims to empower her students and inspire them to pursue their dreams.
