Pink Shirt Day at Kapawe’no Nehiyawak School: Promoting Kindness and Anti-Bullying

Kapawe’no First Nation – On Pink Shirt Day, Kapawe’no Nehiyawak School came together to support an important initiative against bullying, led by Principals and our great teachers. The day was dedicated to raising awareness about the effects of bullying and the importance of fostering a supportive environment. Students and staff wore pink shirts to symbolize their commitment to kindness and solidarity, creating a united front against bullying in the school.

The events featured discussions and activities that encouraged students to reflect on their behavior and the impact of their words. Participants shared stories and strategies for promoting kindness, emphasizing the importance of standing up for one another.

Together, we reinforced the message that everyone deserves respect and support. This day was a powerful reminder of the school’s dedication to creating a safe and inclusive atmosphere for all students. Great work Lakeshore Regional Police Serve for the sunglasses!
