Kapawe’no First Nation – The Grade 4 class at Kapawe’no Nehiyawak School dedicated an entire day to engaging activities that celebrated their culture. Students participated in drumming sessions and worked on gathering stamps and signatures representing the Seven Sacred Grandmother and Grandfather Teachings, beautifully showcased on their pink shirts.
Special thanks to Ms. Sharkawi and Ms. Sutherland for their guidance and support throughout the day. Their efforts have inspired the students to connect with their way of life – pimachimowin and learn valuable teachings. Great job, everyone!
