Edmonton, Treaty 6 Territory – In a huge effort, the Kapawe’no Muskwak U18B secured a 7-2 victory over Peace River Snipers in their opening game of the Alberta Native Hockey Provincials. The team took a strong lead early, ending the first period up 4-1, and expanded their lead to 6-2 by the end of the second period. Number 8 Daniel Ferguson delivered a pivotal first goal, setting the foundation with the winning goal in the team’s win.
Their impressive performance marked a significant win in their provincial campaign, setting a positive tone for the next game tonight at 6:45pm vs Kikino Red Army at the Booster Juice Arena.
