Edmonton, Treaty 6 Territory – The Kapawe’no Muskwak U18B team demonstrated impressive dominance in Game 3 on Friday, April 4 against the Tsuut’ina 7 Chiefs Yellow. Initially, the first period ended in a draw, with both teams showcasing their agility and skills. The second period saw the Muskwak team explode offensively, netting five goals.
Muskwak player Ethan Kipling (#20) scored the game winner and contributing significantly to the team’s success with a hat trick. In the third period, the Muskwak team maintained their momentum, adding another five goals to secure a decisive victory.
Goalie Kale Cuthbert was solid as were all the players in the Muskwak’s success, achieving a shutout with crucial saves during breakaways and oddman player rushes.
Despite missing coach Jarett Knibb, the Muskwak U18B team played hard, continuing to enjoy while defending the Muskwak logo.
