Kapawe’no First Nation – At Kapawe’no Nehiyawak School, we take pride in celebrating life through gathering and sound of drumming. Our Muskwak Srs sang a beautiful Happy Birthday song during a grade 3 class along with a round dance to celebrate our birthdays, creating a vibrant and festive atmosphere for all.
The combination of singing and dancing during birthday celebrations honours our students. It’s a cherished time that highlights the importance of nation building and the joy of celebrating life together, fostering a sense of belonging and connection among students.
