Kapawe’no First Nation – Ms. Thunder, our Kindergarten and powwow club teacher, is preparing for the powwow season and the annual graduation powwow. She works outside with female students, teaching them about powwow protocols and dance.
The students learn essential skills related to dance, song, and attire, fostering a deeper connection to nehiyawak pimachimowin. This experience builds pride as they get ready to participate in the upcoming powwow season.
