Kapawe’no First Nation – Our student athletes continue to train at our Synthetic Ice District. Despite limited space, the Hockey Academy development remains strong. Today, students from Grade 5 and 6 focused on stick handling and playing in small areas, which enhances their skills effectively.
Training on ice at an arena is valuable, however the synthetic ice has proven to be equally effective for development. The focus on stick handling in confined spaces has offered significant benefits to the athletes, promoting growth in their overall game performance.
